I A.M. Arts is a fiscally sponsored project of Springboard for The Arts, a non-profit arts service organization

The mission of I A.M. Arts is to produce solo, collaborative dance works and global commissions that uplift and inspire our humanity; to produce educational programs that utilize the creative arts as a tool for self- development; and to spearhead community development initiatives that assist mid-career women Creatives with spiritual, professional and economic resources to thrive.

SUPPORT LIVE PERFORMANCE

Performance

I A.M. Arts collaborates with emerging leaders in the dance world  who have created methodologies, philosophies and mechanisms to produce work that uplifts and inspires our humanity.

Your tax-deductible donation makes it possible for Alanna to expand their body of solo work via commissioning local and international artists that are engaged in a vigorous physical practice and deliver unapologetic work that explores arresting and socially relevant concepts/themes.

Your financial contributions this season supports the development (and presentation) of new dance work!

SUPPORT ARTS EDUCATION AND MENTORSHIP

Education

The I A.M. Arts contribution to arts education includes providing movement practices for all ages, and especially to support those on the front lines of reproductive justice, indigenous land reparations, healing justice, and racial justice. The I A.M. Arts contribution to arts education includes building a sustainable mentorship/coaching program for pre-professional female dancers of colour and facilitating national and global exchanges that bring artists of colour at the nexus of innovation and tradition in healing cultural practices.

Your financial contributions this season supports the power of dance training to empower life practice and to resource marginalized communities!

SUPPORT THRIVING COMMUNITIES

Community Development

I A.M. Arts continues to provide our community with opportunities for skills-building, capacity-building, resource-sharing, networking, mutual aid, movement-building for social change, and vital conversation about ideas that affect our community.

Your financial contribution this season supports artist retreats, wellness workshops and conversations on creative practice to enrich the lives and careers of Creatives, especially BIPOC mid-career women creative professionals.

Thank you for your support!
